T-Shirt Materials

When you get T-shirt / Polo Shirt, you will notice that some of them feel difference. not only the feel but also the quality that determined whether the shirt last or even makes you feel good wearing them.

Sometimes we invest in Shirts not only for the design but also for the comfort we get. understanding that we are in a social that understands comfort and value for money.

so I did some research to find out more about the different types of shirt out there.
The difference:
1) Fully Combed 100% Cotton.
2) Cotton - DRI
3) Microfiber Eyelet
4) TC Pique / Lacoste

Fully Combed 100% Cotton

The best you can get for Polo / Golf T-shirt.

This material is super soft and comfortable. You can just feel the cooling properties when you place your hand over it. It has the same weight as the other Polo material, yet it feels light. This is the material to choose if you want to impress people with its classy and premium look. Best for indoor and outdoor because it good at absorbing sweat. The great thing about this shirt is it also has no stray fibbers after multiple washes, this means it looks good after you wash it over and over and over .. you get the idea.

One downfall is that price, this shirt is normally a premium and may shrink by 7%. So take note when you get this type of shirts.

Cotton – DRI

Cotton-DRI is our answer to comfortable, sweat absorbing, shiny-looking, microfiber T-shirts. It's a dual layered fabric with a layer of cotton underneath and polyester on top. Cotton has the best water absorbing properties as well as prevents the fabric from sticking to your body. The result is a dryer, more comfortable, experience. This means good absorption of sweat, and does not stick to the body.

The big problem is only the price... just the shirt of this type will cost the same as a premium shirt with designs and label.

Microfiber Eyelet

Microfiber fabric is most commonly mistaken as dry fit or ClimaCool. They look and feel the same BUT it’s not the same!! This Microfiber does not absorb sweat like cotton / dry fit / ClimaCool. Yet this material good points are that they give a premium look but it’s the worst material for comfort (my point of view). This type of materials are made of 100% polyester and because it does not absorb sweat and it makes us feel hot and stuffy. The biggest problem I face with this material is after a few washes, it will start to smell bad. I use to think that it’s my fault, but now I know it’s the material. But the good point are its cheap and good for POLO-T.

TC Pique / Lacoste

This is a popular material use for Polo T shirts, it’s cheap, low maintenance, crumples and shrink resistant. It’s a mix of 70% polyester and 30% cotton, and as you can guess that it’s for indoor use. The material will not have good sweat absorption, and it will be hot. The most outstanding thing about it will be that the material will be coarse

How To Look Your best with the help of Earrings That Flatter Your Face Shape

Few women have that perfect face shape, but through the careful choice of earrings, a woman can give the illusion of a slimmer or wider face, depending on the effect you wants.

Think about it,

Round Face

Use accessories and makeup to make your face look slimmer, unless she is a model. Models thrive on their unique looks, so you might want to highlight the roundness of your face.

Square Face

You may want to soften the lines of your jaw, but if you view your face shape as an asset, you might want to emphasize the sharp angles of your face to stand out from the crowd.

This are some tips to help you.

Creating the illusion of a slimmer face, or a wider one, of sharper features or softer features is easier than you might think. All you need are the right earrings.

The earrings have to be large enough to frame the face in order to have the necessary result. Tiny ear studs wouldn't cut it. Larger earrings that are clearly visible when people look directly at you are necessary to help create these illusions.

For those that are gifted with an oval face, you can wear literally any kind of earrings and look great. If not, you can use earrings to make your face appear oval.

Well what about if you have a narrow face. What you need is something along the horizontal lines to give the illusion of width. Try a pair of round button earrings. From 70's style plastic earrings to sophisticated diamond earrings in a large circular design to wooden ear clips would do fine. If you like hoops, wear huggies that are close to the ear and which are wide, to give the illusion of width.

To soften too sharp features, go for earring designs with curves or which are rounded. Hoop earrings work very well as would earrings with round beads or with circles in the design, or even waves.

To sharpen flat features, wear angular earrings. Triangles, stars and shapes that are pointed or with sharp lines would work very well.

For a round face or square face, you'd want the illusion of length. A dangling pendant or a cascade of beads that draw the attention along vertical lines would visually slim and lengthen your face.

I hope this tips are able to help you in choicing the best earrings to bring out the best look you desire. I believe you will feel even more confident when you know you look good.

Silver Earrings – where did it all start?

It all started way back in five thousand years ago, where looped silver earrings were common. By 200 A.D., the Greeks added gemstones such as rubies and sapphires to the earrings and thus propelled a high-fashion distinction which only privileged women wore.

With the passing of time, silver earrings are not only limited to the royal and privileged few, but also open for all women currently. With the transition of modern technology, women can have any design to suit any event at affordable prices nowadays.

How do we care for our silver earrings?

It is safe to use only mild soap and water to clean your silver earrings. Pat the jewelry using a soft cloth to remove any residue and return the shimmer. Paper towels may scratch it, so be careful with what you use on your earrings. Air and sunlight may tarnish silver, so it is advisable to store your silver earrings wrapped in a soft cloth and sealed in a tarnish-free bag. This bag should be placed for storage in somewhere cool and dry. Do take note that chlorine and other chemicals can change the condition of your silver earrings, so remember to keep them away from those.

If you feel that this is a risky task, then I will recommend a more simple and straightforward solution. You can just utilize a dry Q-tip or cotton bud and lightly brush the earrings without any solution.
